The battery pack also incorporates a smart BMS (battery management system), which monitors the battery and helps to evenly charge and discharge the cells allowing for a greater lifespan (over 700 cycles).

A solid trekking bike should have durable equipment. In the X-Cross bike, we used Shimano Altus gears and hydraulic disc brakes, a Suntour NEX E25 fork dedicated to electric bicycles, and reinforced Schwalbe Energizer Plus tires.
