The battery has two long-range options, allowing you to travel up to 85 miles on a single charge. The battery pack also incorporates a smart BMS (battery management system), which monitors the battery and helps to charge and discharge the cells evenly, allowing for a greater lifespan (over 700 cycles). 

The electrical system is a proven technology developed over many years. A powerful 45nm rear-wheel hub Bafang motor drives the X-Cross: a robust and reliable unit that allows you to climb hills quickly and has battery options for long journeys.

The X-Cross was engineered for comfort and safety, with top-of-the-range convenience features such as an ultra-bright display panel with a colour LCD and dusk sensor that automatically turns on the bicycle lighting after dark. The user-friendly interface ensures easy, intuitive operation, allowing you to configure electric assist levels to meet your lifestyle. The modern controller ensures appropriate regulation of motor performance and provides a smooth transition between assist levels and speed.

A solid Trekking bike should have durable equipment. In the X-Cross bike, we used Shimano Altus gears and hydraulic disc brakes, a Suntour NEX E25 fork dedicated to electric bicycles, and reinforced Schwalbe Energizer Plus tyres.
