The high-capacity battery is housed securely in the underside of the frame to give you perfect weight distribution and exceptional handling. However, it can still be quickly and easily removed to charge or store indoors. Using a 48v system and a capacity of 840wh built from ultra-reliable LG cells, you can be sure you will have all the power you need to finish even the longest of rides on a single charge.

Operating the LX500 couldn’t be easier; with its easy-to-use and intuitive console and centrally mounted range-topping colour LCD display, all the information you need is right in front of you. The built-in twilight sensor automatically adjusts the backlighting of the screen and turns on the bicycle's powerful built-in lighting, making sure you are safe and able to see the road ahead as the skies begin to darken.

Fitted with a Shimano Deore 10-speed gear system, you will have all the mechanical gears you need to complement the six levels of assist from the motor, and powerful Shimano MT400 hydraulic disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power even in wet conditions.

An RST Omega suspension fork with 100mm of travel and a lockout function will soak up any bumps and keep you firmly on track.
